My first try looks like this:
The Prince, Machiavelli
Discorsi, Machiavelli
In Stahlgwittern, Jünger
Gärten und Straßen / Strahlungen, Jünger
The Sword Of Honour Trilogy, Waugh
The Riddle Of The Sands, Childers
Gedanken und Erinnerungen, Bismarck
Life of the Cesars, Suetonius
De Bello Gallico, Cesar (Latin-German ed.)
Churchill, Roy Jenkins
Servitude et Grandeur Militaires, Alfred de Vigny
German History 1866-1945, G.A. Craig
Faustfeuerwaffen, Bock et al. (brick-like reference book on Handguns)
The Pax Britannica trilogy (Morris)
Memoirs of a Fox-Hunting Man trilogy, Sasson
All of Churchill - I have most of his books anyhow and reread them (except the Marlborough which I ve read only once).
Contributions welcome - what is in yr quantum libarary ?

Herr Clausewitz is in my library. Just trying to figure out whether he belongs to the Quantum camp or the Anti one.
I'd recommend Sun Tzu & Senore Machiavelli. But do read them occasionally. Some associates of mine read them ALL THE TIME, but IMHO they don't seem to derive any new insights from all that extreme behaviour.
I'm curious about the reception of Machiavelli & Sun Tzu in Germany, FMC. Which editions are the most reliable & recommended ones? Harro von Senger, a Swiss, has done some work on Chinese strategems, but they're not really a work on strategy (strategems are utilised at one's own risk, they may sometimes prove counterproductive).
Gonna master the German tongue in NEAR future, as I believe writings translated into other languages tend to have subtle meanings lost or overlooked.
